Looking forward to the Big Trip

We're counting the days until we leave for our exciting trip to Darwin and the Kimberleys. We'll be leaving here on Friday morning,  Dick and Gloria will meet us at Keepit, as they have been travelling since before Christmas, and had to go to Tamworth to have some modifications done to their van there.
This is the first time that we haven't had a scheduled trip, we are just going to take each day as it comes and if we like a spot, will stay there for a few days before continuing on.  We have never been to Bourke or Mt Isa, and they are stops along the way.
The caravan is almost packed, and Rick has been working on his "truck" a Land Cruiser, getting it shipshape and adding additonal batteries, etc. He bought me a slide for the Engel fridge for the truck for my birthday earlier this year - lucky me - but then I didn't really need anything. We have a tent, some sleeping bags, blow up mattresses and other camping gear in case we find places where we can't take the caravan and want to go exploring.
It's Jenny's birthday today and we have just been talking to Angel and Ellen on Skype from London - it was the middle of the night there, and they have been having some lovely weather for Easter. It's the Royal wedding next Friday, so London is buzzing with lots of tourists, Kate and William are to be married at Westminster Abbey. When we were there last year, there was a lot of security around the building but we didn't go in there, as it was almost closing time.
